SVI PhD & Honours Student Awards

Students commencing full-time research at SVI are invited to apply for top-up PhD or Honours awards. Successful applicants will receive a $5,000 p.a. top-up stipend for a maximum of 3.5 years (PhD) or 1 year (Hons).  The SVI Awards committee meet in mid-January to allocate the awards, after which all applicants will be notified. Note that full academic transcripts (ie including all final results from 2011) are required to be submitted for each award. All applications are due by the 31st December 2011.

PhD Awards:
A minimum requirement of this award is H1 in Honours.
Please complete the PhD Award form, and send back (either by mail or e-mail as detailed on the form) by the 31st December 2011.

Honours Awards:
There is no form for this application. The application requires
1)     Complete academic transcript for entire undergraduate course
2)     Brief (no more than one page) description of the project to be undertaken in Honours
3)     CV of student
4)     Letter of support from proposed SVI Honours supervisor.
