Phosphocellulose paper

Researchers at SVI have developed a phosphocellulose paper replacement for GE Healthcare’s Whatman P81 cation exchange paper. This product is available to the wider research community at an affordable price.

The SVI phosphocellulose paper is not an exact replica of trademarked P81 paper – its synthesis uses a different chemistry. However, it performs extremely well against P81.

The paper has been used by more than 60 laboratories worldwide, since it was made available in 2018. It can be used for with applications covering kinase, methyltransferase and acetylation assay applications.

If you are interested in the product, a free sample sheet can be provided to new customers before purchase to test in your own laboratory.
