PhD studiesA PhD program at SVI offers you the chance to tackle original research focused on critical disease challenges for Australia and the world, guided by leading scientists.
Our PhD students learn to design and execute experiments, becoming the lead investigator of their own project that aims to make a major medical research discovery and improve disease treatment. ScholarshipsStudents commencing full-time PhD research are provided with a SVI Foundation Top-up Scholarship, funded through the activities of the SVI Support Group and other donors.
Recipients receive a $5,000 p.a. top-up stipend for a maximum of 3.5 years.
